“Play is the highest expression of human development in childhood for it alone is the free expression of what is in a child’s soul”

North Ipswich Childcare Centre Kindergarten program ensures your child is school ready

We value children growing up with the understandings, skills, and dispositions to be caring people and effective learners able to contribute to their world and to enjoy rich and successful relationships with others. As parents know, children are active and competent learners. That is why your child’s learning is our priority. We focus on expanding your child’s knowledge and skills and providing for their interests.

We create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment for your child that:

  • Encourages thoughtful play and early literacy and numeracy development
  • Promotes a strong sense of belonging and self-worth
  • Facilitates warm trusting relationships and interactions with others
Strengthens resilience critical thinking and intellectual curiosity
  • Promotes communication and problem solving
  • Develops capacity to express and acknowledge feelings

Children are innovators, problem solvers, communicators, and leaders.  At Kindergarten, they learn about science, mathematics, technology, language and literacy, music and art.

Teachers create learning environments where children are valued, happy and safe, where their identity and culture is celebrated, and where children can explore and learn about the world around them, developing skills and growing knowledge and understanding.  Together with families and the community, qualified teachers extend and progress children’s learning, supporting every child to be competent and confident in their world.

Our Kindergarten program is age-appropriate, where learning environments are created for young children. Our Kindergarten Teachers are trained and qualified as Teacher’s and Educators, skilled in understanding how children develop and progress their learning.

Teachers provide a rich learning environment where children learn at their own pace, within the framework of the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.

Children’s language, culture and identity is nurtured. Children have fun, are inspired, make friends, and are safe and happy.

You can talk with teachers about your child’s progress and read about their learning through “learning Stories” via their online portfolio in Storypark.

Our Approved Kindergarten program is designed to help children transition successfully into school. The program is highly-regarded my Prep Teacher’s at Ipswich schools as one that develops above average educational and social skills.

Your child will develop knowledge and skills necessary to begin formal schooling, as well as a passion for learning.  Our Kindergarten program offers the flexibility needed by working families. The program is available 5 days a week.
