In the Nursery we believe that the early years of a child’s life are the most important and are aware of the important role we have in the care and support of every child. We believe that relationships are the key important aspect of our work with the children and follow the children’s lead during the day.
We strive to provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment, providing opportunities for the children to explore, discover, create and imagine. We welcome family input and acknowledge the great importance of working in partnership with families in the care of the children.
The Nursery group is a 0 – 2years group and so their needs may differ, therefore we follow the children’s lead as to when they sleep/ rest and have there meals etc. families will have opportunity to fill out an All About Me form to give us important information about their child’s needs and also speak with staff when they have their orientation visit.
The children will have opportunity to play indoors and outdoors during the day and these session times change due to weather conditions or following their needs.
